What If YOU’RE the Problem? | Accountability, Relationships & Growth
LIBERATED LESSON #3 Girlfriends, this Liberated Lesson asks a question that may be a little uncomfortable: What if…sometimes…YOU’RE the problem? 👀 Coming to you from beautiful **Frederiksted 'Freedom City' St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands, I’m reflecting on what it really means to take accountability for our lives not from a place of blame or shame, but from a place of freedom, agency and growth. It’s easy to focus on what someone else needs to do differently: the girlfriend who didn't show up, the partner who disappointed us, the team that isn't performing, the customers who aren't buying, or even the financial circumstances we wish would change. But liberation asks us to also consider: What part of this belongs to me? In this episode, we explore accountability across: ❤️ Friendship & relationships: Am I communicating my needs, establishing boundaries and examining my own patterns? 💼 Business & leadership: Am I communicating clearly, creating the right systems and positioning myself for the opportunities I say I want? 💰 Money & wealth building: Am I paying attention to my numbers, examining my habits and taking action toward the financial life I want to create? Because accountability isn't about deciding who's to blame. ✨ It's about identifying where you still have power. Your Liberated Reflection: Ask yourself: 1. What actually happened? Separate the facts from the story. 2. What was my role? What did I communicate, tolerate, assume, avoid, choose - or fail to do? 3. What is within my power to do differently now? Sometimes liberation is recognizing: This part is mine. That part is yours. And I'm responsible for what is mine. 👇🏾 Where in your life could greater accountability help you reclaim your power? Tell me in the comments. 🔔 Subscribe for more Liberated Lessons exploring friendship, wellness, wealth, relationships, entrepreneurship, healing, growth and what it means to live a liberated life. 🌍 Continue the conversation inside our Girlfriendism Global Online Community, Take The Pledge & Become a Girlfriend: https://girlfriendism-global.mn.co Your Girlfriend, Dr. K 💛 #LiberatedLessons #Girlfriendism #Accountability #Friendship #Mindset #PersonalGrowth #WealthBuilding #Relationships #Entrepreneurship

Your Bank Account Is NOT Your Identity: Liberated Lessons #2 - Money, Shame & Entrepreneur Burnout
💰 Can we talk about money shame? I became an entrepreneur because I wanted more freedom - more control over my time, more opportunity to create, and more space to live in my purpose. But somewhere along the journey, I realized that I had started connecting my income to my identity. When business was good, I felt successful. When there were valleys, missed goals or financial challenges, the questions became much more personal: Am I irresponsible? Am I failing? Am I really cut out for entrepreneurship? Should I just go get a 9-to-5? That’s when financial information can turn into financial shame and financial shame can fuel overworking, fear and burnout. Today’s Liberated Lesson: ✨ Your bank account is information. It is NOT your identity. Your revenue is information. Your expenses are information. Your debt is information. Your sales are information. Sometimes that information requires us to make difficult decisions, pivot, earn more, spend less or change our strategy. But accountability and shame are not the same thing. 💭 YOUR REFLECTION: Have you ever allowed your financial situation to determine how successful, capable or worthy you felt? What is the financial fact you’re dealing with right now and what story have you attached to it? And what would happen if you stopped asking, “What does this say about me?” and started asking: “What is this information teaching me, and what do I need to do next?” 👇🏾 Let’s talk about it in the comments. 🔔 SUBSCRIBE for more Liberated Lessons on wellness, wealth, friendship, entrepreneurship, healing, growth and liberation. 🌍 Want to continue these conversations with girlfriends around the world? Liberated Lessons #1: Progress Over Perfection (Because Perfect Doesn’t Exist!)
✨ LIBERATED LESSONS #1: PROGRESS OVER PERFECTION Girlfriends, I finally did it. 🎥 I’ve been saying for MONTHS that I wanted to consistently share more of the lessons, reflections and tools that are helping me rethink wellness, wealth, friendship, healing, business, growth and success. But I kept waiting. Until I was camera ready. Until I had the perfect setting. Until I had everything mapped out. And today, sitting in my car between dropping my kids off and teaching class, I had a little Gentle Confrontation with myself: ✨ When does preparation become procrastination? ✨ And how often is procrastination really perfectionism wearing a convincing outfit? So I pressed RECORD. Right there in my car. 😂 Because sometimes liberation looks like simply allowing yourself to START. 💭 TODAY’S REFLECTION: What have you been delaying because you don’t feel “ready”? What would the minimum version of that dream, idea, conversation or goal look like if your only assignment was to make meaningful progress TODAY? And what could change in your life if you chose progress over perfection? 👇🏾 Drop your answer in the comments. I want us to hold each other accountable.
